I made a transformers costume out of cardboard boxes once and it got rave reviews. Like above, originality and creativity trumps all. I wouldn't vote for anyone wearing the costumes you posted.

I have this one on a manequin. Kids like it when they come to trick-or-treat. I can't wear it, as it is for someone 6'5" or taller.
