Could this be the end of my Army career?

If you were diagnosed by a Army physician as being bi-polar and OCD
you can get out if the physician recommends you be discharged.

Cant hurt to talk to a VA rep as well.

Id definitely talk to a psychiatrist here because when it comes to mental disorders it usually takes a doc to pinpoint whats really wrong. Anxiety can mock and immiatate alot of things that seem more serious in the end, not sayin anxiety is not serious but if can definitely sprout outer things if not worked out. Only a licensed medical professional can determine the true cause of your ailment, but id be weary of any doc who spends 5 minutes with you then just wants to drug you, things like this could take time to clear up.

SO in regards to a discharge, I would go see my own doctor or whatever... and then I would have to see an ARMY physician regardless?

Im not 100% on the Armys policies right now reguarding these things but i would like to think that they could give you a medical leave of absence maybe? thats also something id look into if thats what you want, i just know from being in the medical field when we give someone a note of temporary leave to cure an ailment preventing a person from performing upto expectation the company or employer usually outta good will or sometimes law will allow a certain period of time for a person to become well again, but again i do not know the Armys policies for this
