Default Cracker Barrel "the Wal-Mart of restuarants"

I just drove past Cracker Barrel and it was packed. The place seems to always be packed.

For $7.99 you get "chicken fried chicken" with mashed potatos, beans, gravy, bisquits, etc.........

Almost all of the shit in the "gift shop" is crap that is made in china ...... just like wal-mart!

I have been there maybe 3 times and every time it was filled with mostly really big people just like at Wal-mart.

Not sure what the point of my post was other than people are stupid, and just love to eat big quantities of food for cheap, then waste $ on stuff that was made in China, but looks like it should have been made in America.

I like the breakfast they serve there. The only thing I'll buy from the gift shop is the candy, but that is very rare. I prefer other places to eat, since I never get good service.

i wonder how much a cracker barrel waitress brings home per shift.

I can't imagine that crowd being decent tippers.

I love how you have to go 80-100 miles before I run into one.

Cheddars is so much better with a great price. Their chicken tender platter is great and I cant finish it if my life depended on it.

Man was I wrong (from the website):

California
There are no Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores in the state of California at this time, but we are growing fast! Cracker Barrel always chooses new locations that are easy to get to from the interstate highway system, and since there are interstates in California , it's possible that a Cracker Barrel will open up here. For more information on this state, please visit Drop Us A Line and write us.

No interstates?
No Cracker Barrell

When i think of cracker barrell i think of GOOD OLD HOMESTYLE STUFF..... so i would expect this "crafty" type crap that they sell in their store to be made by in the USA at least.....maybe even hand made..... but hell no.... 95% of the shit is made in china (by 11 year olds ).

I recently went to the beach and the same thing.... all of the "beach souvineers" were made in china...including the ones with sea shells and sand, etc.....

The entire USA retail world relies on crap from china.
