Sad but true.

When was the last time you bought shoes that weren't made in China excluding New Balance?

Ha, I haven't had Cracker Barrel in a long long time. There aren't any over here in Wa so the only time I ever have it is when we go out to our house in Virginia. I always thought of it as "good ole' country style cookin" and the food was never really that bad. Sure all of the crap in the store is well... crap. But really it's more of a restaurant with a gas station souvenir booth connected to it than anything. I really had no complaints, I just ate the food and left.

blame the U.S. people for not willing to work for cheap labor. i, for one, am glad that the U.S. economy revolves around industries other than manufacturers of inexpensive consumer products. the bottom line is that most consumers are not willing to spend more than what they currently do on the products they buy, so that is where cheap labor comes in. i know what i just said sounds bad, but the alternative is to have to spend 20%-50% more for the products we buy if they are manufactured in the U.S.

Breakfast there is awesome. Definately worth stopping for if you get a chance. Would avoid for lunch or dinner unless you like chicken fried steak type of meals.

Yeah what the hell is wrong with stuff made in China? The entire "Made in the USA" and "Buy American Only" argument is the foundation for ignorance and racism in this country.
