Amex blue. Amex builds your credit faster than any other card...however, it will pummel your credit if you are irresponsible.

you may not get the amex blue right off the bat. bank of america has plenty of cards they will give you that you can use to build your credit (one of them was my first card during college). i then got an amex. but yeah, its easy as hell to pay the bill through their online banking...i dont know the apr as i pay it off..im sure its rediculous

You shouldn't get yourself in that situation when you're looking to build CR. When you sign up for an AMEX account, you know ahead of time what your APR will be, so it shouldn't be a surprise.
Oh no, I understand that. I was just asking a general statement. . One of the bankers I work with was telling me that if your credit card balance is continually more than half of the credit line at any given time, even if you make the payments, you're credit will go down.

Another good way to build credit is to have a cosigner and finance a car. That's what I'm doing and my credit went from non-existent to over 750 in a matter of six months . (Granted it's not ESTABLISHED all the way, it's a nice number)

I don't know how the financial industry engineered this masterpiece, but getting everyone obsessed with their credit rating in order to take on more debt may be the greatest scam of my generation.

Spend your time researching investing instead of worrying about which company you are going to give your money too.

I wouldn't even look at a credit card until you have the ability to take advantage of rewards.

BOA student cards normally come with a $2000.00 limit. That was my first card also and I think my rate is in the neighborhood of 19%.
