Steve is off his nut, Australians might play around with all of the deadly animals, but not with the complete disregard for safety and most of us would know where to draw the line..

He doesn't represent Australia as a whole and i dont think the crocodile hunter does so well over here....

I still watch the show and it's is funny, but dont think were all like that..if fact dont think any of us are like that

Well one guy is. I saw a story in the newspaper about a guy in the Northern Territory who was on the way to the pub and saw a Brown Snake by the road. He stopped to pick it up as he thought it would impress his mates. It bit him. So he tried to grab it again. It bit him again. Eventually he managed to get the snake into a bag in his boot (trunk to you Yanks) and drove to the pub where he promptly collapse. They got him to hospital and had to amputate his arm at the shoulder as it was necrotic and the venom was spreading towards his heart. He also lost the use of his legs (one armed and in a wheel chair!). There were seven sets of puncture marks in his arm.

It was his left arm. He was holding a bottle of beer in his right hand.
