It's nice to see a conservative, well equipped car for a change. No rice, just fact! A real sleeper, ready to kick some serious booty, including most S2ks I'd bet.

 

Oh man, that thing is SWEET! I'd love to do that to mine but then I wouldn't have any money to play with the S2000.

 

Just think of that same setup in a 1984 base model which weighs about 300-400lbs less!

I was just thinking about a '84 hybrid when out running (what else is there to think about when running besides cars?).... 1700lbs+- and 195 ITR horsepower.

What a beautiful CRX! I bought a '90 CRX Si new and did a few mods to make it competitive in CSP for Autocross. It was a fun ride, just didn't look near as nice as yours!

A friend of mine went to the Ennis drag strip and he says Jotech's Civic hatchback ran like 9.7 . I'm assuming he's telling the truth...

I still own my '90 CRX-Si, it sits in the garage waiting for the 2002 S2000 to join it.
Yours is very cool; it has some tweaks I did not do, like the great VTEC!
Mine has 88,000 miles and I know for a fact that 44,000 miles of it is from race tracks- Watkins Glen, Mid Ohio, Mosport, Lime Rock.
My CRX-Si at Watkins Glen passing M3s, Porsches, Corvettes, Ferraris, etc is what started Triple-H.
