its all about the circumstances...
its better to have a gun in the car ready to go instead of the safe at home.

. Better to have the choice then to have no choice at all.
I have mine in my car 95% of the time. I like having that peace of mind. NOT MY POINT.
My point was.... DISCRETION - meaning knowing when to use it and when not to.
Every situation is different and ultimately it is up to you to decide if you should draw or not.
Just stop posting the "I'll shoot him and reload before he hits the ground" crap. That stuff is what makes us CCW owners look bad.

^^ My point exactly.
Keeping a fire arm for defense is a fantastic idea. Talking about finding the best way to put it in a holster so you can take out a car jacker and clean out the scumbags makes you appear no wiser than any thug or gang banger carrying around a "piece". It reflects poorly on those of us responsible adults that maintain firearms for personal protection.

Who said anything about cleaning up the streets? Am I Batman? Nobody claimed such a thing. Every poster's response has referenced self-defense, not "I can't wait until I get a chance to blow somebody away."
Noboby should be ashamed to defend themself, so just because we're not in tears after pulling a gun on a home intruder doesn't mean we are "gang bangers", as you put it.

I use Fobus products in my vehicles. Very trick , very custom.
fobus video
Anyway, i carry a Glock 27 and have a Blackhawk SERPA CQC retention paddle holster that you can change the angle of the gun and it work very well in the S2000.
I used to carry it in the Fobus holster until I saw that video.

I'm right handed and certainly am not nearly as agile with my left. So, if I kept it next to the door, I'd have to pick it up with my left, put it in my right, then cock and aim.
Sounds a little much than just cocking and aiming with my right hand in a more natural motion.

LOL gunna be hard to do that when they find your carcass in the jack in the box drive through cause you thought you would be smart and pull a gun on someone that already has one pointed at your face.
I seem to forget though, most you guys have lightening fast reflexes and can get a gun out of a holster, turn and point it at a carjacker and pull the trigger before the carjacker can simply slide his finger across his trigger and put you out of your misery
