I've been spending a lot of time lately at a site called Ubid - an auction site. The big difference between Ubid and Ebay is that they have all the merchandise in their warehouse so you don't go through the "unknown". Anyway, I spent a couple hours the other night working on winning 2 desktop computers for about $400 each incl. shipping. Today they sent me an email to tell me that they had a mix up in their warehouse and can't fulfill all the winning bids, so I'm not getting my computers. But the good news is that they are giving me a $102 credit towards my next purchase. Now that's the way to do business. <rant> I only wish some other business owners would realize that a little goodwill goes a long way.
</rant>

BTW, I dont work for them

That's cool! A lot of other business would just say they're sorry. What's wierd is they give you $102, not $100, $150 or $125, but $102. Wonder why?
