his brother lives in Bloomington Indiana. I had a chance to hear the Lama speak, but didn't end up going. What a mistake!

There were Tibetan monks at my school not too long ago, arguing over issues in their native language. It was fun to watch.

Myanmar conflict is very controversial atm. Bloomington, Illinois is also the head location of State Farm Bank.

I read his oldest brother's 'semi-auto' biography. Sounds like a gun doesn't it? I have profound respect and admiration for him and the Dalai Lama. Two of my favorite images of all time include the photo of the monk in the street who lit him self on fire with gasoline in the meditation position and the one with the lone chinese man standing in front of the line of tanks in China.

I was in bloomington indiana a couple years back. I would have bet a considerable amount of funds that the dalai lama's brother did not live there, glad I didn't!
