Maybe there are "considerate smokers." I just haven't met any. I just don't understand how a smoker could ever be responsible. Smoking is irresponsible.

Smoking is a choice. Just like going to McDonalds, driving without a seat belt, or getting a (real) tan. All have health risks. You take your chances and pay your dues.

One who smokes is making a poor choice as far as their health is concerned, but they can act responsibly by not exposing others to the smoke.

I don't like being around the smoke myself, but the whole anti-smoking movement has gone far enough. There are communities that are trying to ban smoking in private homes and that's outrageous.

i never said they were. i said someone could partake in those actions and still act responsibily towards others.

The choices an adult makes about their own health is their business. Again, you make bad decisions and you get sick.

As fascinating as this is, we'll just have to agree to disagree and leave it here.
