Default Dead person outside my building

4am, cops everywhere, taking photos from 9th floor, fingerprinting the balcony railings. Not sure if suicide, accident or a cat burglar but there's a body with a sheet over it lying in the grounds close to the building.

It's a suicide. So sad, especially at this time of year.

4:36am. Broad daylight. It's a shame the undertaker hasn't been yet. The less people know about it the better. There are often kids visiting at this time of year.

Suicide is odd. We had a guy in our burn unit who planned his demise to the minute. He sold his stuff. He cancelled his utilities. He mapped his route to the building he was going to fling himself off of....and then, en route, he had a flat tire. Being suicidal and apparently on a schedule, he kept driving. After several miles, the sparks from the bare rim ignited the interior of his car. He drove until the flames engulfed him within the car---perhaps content that he was finally dying---only to be pulled from the car by a courageous state trooper. He was a model patient: compliant and pleasant, he even consented to skin grafting his right arm and hand. We sent him to a psych ward at another hospital. I have no doubt he'll do whatever it takes to be released and then try to off himself again. It's very sad.

Anyhow, at least nobody ELSE was injured Muz, sometimes someone's in the wrong place at the wrong time.
