Dead person outside my building
jason, we're all going to die some day, so the healthy thing to do is to accept it. my dad died with i was 14. although i've never talked about it with anyone in my family, but from what i've gathered, i believe my dad was afraid to die. he was battling cancer for a little over a year, and near the end when he knew death was eminent, he lost his sanity and became paranoid with hallucination. it was really sad and scary because the couple of weeks prior to his death, he would lie in bed and start screaming and shouting with fear at the ceilling. worse yet, he did not recognize any of his loved ones when we were at his bedside and occassionally retracted from us with fear as if we were out to get him. of course i'm only guessing that it was fear of dying that had caused him to lose his mind, but given the fact that he had cancer, it could had been that the cancer had spread to his brain causing him to be paranoid and delusional. nevertheless, it was very sad for my last memories of my dad to be of him in that state.
Well, I know I'm going to die, but I forgot the word "like" in the last sentence. I just don't like that feeling. Sorry for the confusion, mainly wanted to know if it was true or not about dying before hitting the floor.
Also, I lost a close family friend, like an aunt, (in her late 20's) to cancer. I watched her deteriorate for 1.5 yrs up to the night before she passed away. She's my first loved one that passed away and it has truly been one of the hardest things for me to deal with.
