Just a funny post..... I used to mess with diesel stuff. My truck - 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 reg cab long box. Truck put down 605HP and just short of 1050ftlb of TQ.

I ran 65psi of boost in the following video. I had no traction, and was bouncing the fuel cutoff the whole way down the track.

I had nearly $10,000 in the transmission alone! I sold the truck, and bought the S2000. The diesel thing gets expensive FAST! So I have decided to put a CAI, and catback exhaust on the 2000.... and leave it at that. Im done with wrenching..

Funny.... given the forum I am on now, compared to 3 months ago! I will clarify though...... I have owned a 2001 Integra Type R White on red interior, RSX-S, Toyota MR2, Civic x2, and a CBR 600F4i (which almost took my life in 2001) so I am not making that big of a leap from diesel to gas.....

I some times go to T/T pulls. Something to watch the diesel guys light it up. Just don't want to be any where near where the smoke trail goes.

 

As sick as it may sound.... you actually begin to like getting smoked out. Diesel is an aquired taste... LOL

i had a stock early build 2004 powerstroke 6.0 4x4 crewcab.... talk about a heap... i got 8mpg towing a 20ft trailer at 80mph.... about 1 mpg better than a gas truck....

I bet you did really well on the resale value of your truck.
