Olympus makes the BEST digital cams. I'd pay a couple hundred more for the 3 megapix or better. Definately worth it!

I use my 3030Zoom daily!

My mami just got a Toshiba 4.4 MP or something. I have my eyes on the Sony 5.0 MP.

I saw some Polaroid one for under $30.

I bought a Canon Powershot s110. It's 2.3 megapixels and is TINY. it works great and makes printable pictures too. Great buy, but a little pricey for a 2.3 megapixel camera

The Canon Powershots are great. I have the S300 and I'm very happy with it. Does everything I want it to do.

I have the Canon S20, 3.34 mega pixels, 4x optical zoon, 2x digital zoon.

http://www.powershot.com/powershot2/s20/specs.html

It's pretty basic and has good quality photos. The nightview is pretty crappy and the shutter speed is a bit slow (you gotta keep the camera pretty still). There's no video on this camera, only still shots. There is a sequence mode though which I haven't figured out how to use. It also has an auto flash where it automatically uses the flash if the camera thinks it's too dark. The style of the camera is nice but a bit too small for me (hard not to touch the LCD screen). The LCD does eat up battery but that's a lot of cameras. I got mine for $365 on ebay so it was a good deal. I plan to get a more sophisticated and professional one in a bit.

This camera is good for the novice and basic user, nothing fancy.

ps. I got some good party photos last night if anyone wants to see
Another thing, if you get this camera, BE SURE to get a rechargeable battery, or maybe even 2. Batteries are eaten up by this camera.

How much did that setup cost you. I'm looking to get a prosumer line camera with interchangeable lenses. How would you rate the color and clarity?
