That sucks. Way to blow a second chance!
My thoughts exactly! It was a miracle he survived that crash. Then takes a second chance at life and throws it away.

You know...I've been thinking of biting my tongue...but who gives a fawk...I'm gonna say what I feel...

How the fawk do you survive a plane crash where FOUR people DIE and you essentially walk away (albeit with some hospital stays...but very "lucky"). Then you have the balls to _SUE_ Learjet??? Ungrateful, IMHO.

Then you continue to use drugs and waste away your life?

I have no sympathy for people like this.

And what THE FAWK did he do for the good of fellow man? Did he give any money to charities? Did he help the hungry? The homeless? The disease ridden?

I'm not saying I'm glad he's dead. But I'm just saying I don't give a shit that he died.

I agree for the most part, but as mentioned earlier, survivor's guilt may have played a much bigger role than we can imagine. And suing was probably a misdirected form to alleviate some of that guilt, pointing fingers etc, etc.

Substance use is related but he may have had a history before the accident.

[QUOTE=airgate,Aug 28 2009, 07:46 PM] Wow...in searching for that info on the SC plane crash, I came across where DJ AM was suing Learjet for $20 million.

It's highly likely he had survivor's guilt. I don't think it's any coincidence this happened so close to the anniversary of the crash either.
