After that, J C Whitney never sent me a bill for the product and they expect me go out of my way and find out where to ship the product back, and pay freight?

In other words, something was shipped to me without me ordering it and they expect me to pay for it. I was never notified that I owed money and they sent this to a collection agency, which was their biggest mistake.

I called them 3 times left 3 messages, they still won't call me back. They keep sending me mail for payment, although I did pay. I sent a check out on Aug 8 and they didn't cash it. They might have not received it, which really sucks cause that would be my first and only check or correspondence that never made it through US Mail. I have never had this problem before and it just gets worse and worse. This company just really sucks in the service department.
