Do you use the "F" word regularly?
I use fornicate sometimes, to refer to the "alley cat" behaviour of people at a local bar on ladie's night, as they play the games to pick each other up. "I think some fornication may come from this crowd tonight"
Also when making fun of the hard right view of sex spouted by many religious zealots. "We don't fornicate with members of the congregation" .....yeah right....

The Red Hot Chili Peppers combined fornicate with the state CA to title their last CD, one of my favorites. The title track is an interesting song which describes the morals and reputations of most Hollywood stars and residents. Anyone heard it?:
Fornication is certainly not a word that I use with any frequency.....
The "other" F word is unfortunately very common in my vocabulary, I guess that comes to a large extent from working in the construction industry.
I do think however, that it is becoming a much more acceptable word for every day useage and it depends very much on the context of its use as to whether it should be considered offensive or not.....
