Default Does anyone like sushi?

I just recently discovered the wonderful world of sushi, and I was wondering if anyone else likes it. None of my friends are willing to try it so I dont get to eat it often. What are some good suggestions? My personal favorite is the spicy tuna roll. I want to try something new, but I dont know where to start.

the best toro i tried was in korea, hyatt hotel, aroud $ 120 a piece my friend bought me.... yes, a piece, not "a set of two."
good luck finding it in the u. s. tho, as we usually only get so- so quality cheap toros.

I tried it once, but some seaweed wrapped around it made me gag. Couldn't help it. I haven't tried it since then.

The California Rolls are a good [safe] place to start! Very good!

hamachi and hirame are my two favorites. unagi (fresh-water eel) is also very good.

Seung, suggesting the saba (mackerel) for a first time sushi eater probably isn't a good idea. that is a very fishy-tasting fish, and kinda oily too.

personally, I'd stay away from the mackerel.
