Lol awesome! You sound like you had a great time too!

Its a beautiful country... (some of it) too bad they trash it... Santo Domingo is a sh*t hole... but would have been beautiful...

I liked DR more than Cancun

I think I saw that place! That the one that has a skate park in it? Looked a little run down, but pretty cool if it's a fairly safe place.

I just don't like the feeling of not being able to leave anything anywhere without it disappearing. Didn't have any trouble with that on our trip though. Passports in the safe, and if anything else went missing then I don't care because they obviously need it more than I do.

I was thinking Mexico next actually. You're saying no-go to Cancun? I was advised against the Dominican but it's really improved from what it used to be, I understand. As long as you keep aware of your surroundings and don't do anything too stupid (which should be the policy almost anywhere on vacation...)

Yep, that was the place! lol... But I felt safe... It was run by Americans...
(AND CHEAP! lol)

Cancun was fun, ill give it that... but its more of a highschool/college party place... which, while fun, is WAY to much like going to the beaches on the Gulf coast... It felt like Panama City, Florida, but way more expensive... and everyone had a better tan...

Oh don't you worry...pretty soon you'll start noticing hair where in funny places, a sudden interest in girls, and some changes in your voice as well.

We went to DR in the past. We were at Santo Dominigo. We rocked the casino's and my friend picked up an Italian heiress who ended up being married to this famous Dominican. We went to their villa and had some good food and VIP treatment. We also went to an awesome dance club/bar in a cave that had all these natural levels. It had the stalagtites and stalagmites in there. It was a great time.
