alright this is kind of lame but go to a mirror and check the right side of your face and the left side of your face. Study each side carefully and determine which side is "uglier" than the other. The side that you sleep on the most is the "ugly" half of your face.

I tested this out on some of my friends and 100% of them saw that the side that they slept on is "uglier". Anyone else want to confirm this?

You have to realize that you toss and turn as you sleep. So to say you always sleep on one side of your face is incorrect. Keep in mind most people toss and turn 80-120 times per night. So you might only be on that "side" of your face half the time.

Although what you're saying *is* pretty interesting

BTW, as you might tell from my avatar, I own a mattress store (15 of them, rather).

So you might say I know a thing or two about sleep

My face is almost perfectly symmetrical. So is Denzel Washington's - he's considered to be very attractive for that very reason (or so I've read in a few studies).

You make the logical extension...

Just kidding about myself, though what I said about DW is true.

That is BS. It's just the way you are born. JonBoy is right though. Theory has it that the more symmetry you have the more attractive you are. Liz Hurley has an almost perfectly symmetric face. Also, there are ratios of many facial distances and angles that has been worked out by a plastic surgeon and she has perfect ratios.

:biting tongue: Man, s2000raj, I have a great line to respond to what you said (as a joke) but I just can't bring myself to say it. It's way out of character for me....

But yes, I believe you're right - there are certain mathematical ways to determine "beauty".
