water is the best. no soda for me. well unless i am mixing it with alcohol.

I don't think the subjects they talked to were paralyzed, they were just too fat to move from drinking so much soda each day.

(It's worth noting that Coca-Cola uses the same de-cocainized coca leaf, and likely has the same amount of cocaine. The 0.4 micrograms per liter it contains means you'd have to drink... well, I found a study with rhesus monkies in which 0.00075 milligrams per kg of body weight was the smallest dose that seemed to influence behavior. In a 100kg person (220 lbs), if my math is correct, that comes out to 1875 liters to actually notice anything.)
