Driving car with out oil, in the engine....
I would say there is a possibility your insurance company will cover this cause i would think it was an accident. Sometimes they are forgiving and they will take care of you (hope you have a good company)
I understand the harsh reality but it really isn't ANYONES fault. Just one of those really really sucky things that had to happen and it's a shame cause it's not like your motor is cheap, if it were me though i would kill my sister for taking my car
Damn, i really feel for your friend!

hey guys..He's my friend and im trying to help him...I lovv...ahh i meant to say is that i dont wana see him sad and down..But it looks like its going to get better...The guy just picked the car up to take to the dealer, the dealer will look at it and say, "Whoa what the F hapend here"..so on...Also, when the guy in the tow truckstarted it, it made a wana start sound..(kinda like when your on empty, but it was extremely brief)...The sound was thier for a split second..So i think we have hope...
Also, insurance will cover it, its under an accident...So, we will see whats gona happen in the next week, ill keep you guys posted! Thanks for everything!

I also hate people who are eager to sue, however I also hate people who don't read.
The sewer was sticking out because of construction. This is not the same as falling debris. That's an accident, bad pavement is planned/recognized.
If
a) the construction was so severe that an objectively reasonable person driving safely would also have hit the sewer with their car, then the city needed to have warnings signs/area roped off or else they ARE indeed responsible.
alternatively,
b) if no one else hits the damn thing (meaning unlowered cars are able to drive over this) AND our guy drives normally and only hits it because the car has been lowered, than yes, the dealership IS responsible.
At least thats what contract and tort laws dictate in California. I would think they're similar out in Georgia.
