I just don't understand your logic here. You say that you're "very conscious of flicking 'em back at another car." What I would like to know is; what gives you the right to use the public roadways as your personal ashtray??

People shouldnt smoke in the car. It is a great distraction to the driver. Besides I saw a test done before where a cigarette landed in the back seat and in like couple of minutes...the whole car was in fire!!!

what gets me is, why dont the police pull people over for flicking their cigs out the window, it is littering am I right? Smokers are lucky that I decided against joining the police academy, I would have the highest amount of littering fines handed out...

they do.

i was ticketed for "ashing out of the window" which was pretty retarded. i only smoke when my top is down, but i bought an OEM ashtray so that i wouldnt throw buts out the window, then i get ticketed anyway. BS i declare!

Just curious Mindcore, since the S2K has no ashtray, what would someone that doesn't want to flick ashes or butts out the window do?? I guess quitting smoking would be one option.

When I smoked in my car I carried a used or partially used disposable water bottle. The nafter I had a couple butts in there I threw it out.
