Default Driving and cigarette smoking pet peeve

I was following someone yesterday that had their sunroof open. Her passenger kept flicking his cigarette ashes through the open sunroof. I hate people that do that. WTF is the ashtray in the car suppose to be used for.

Don't smoke, so I put my spare change there!

I just don't like it when smokers flick their butts out of their car windows!

I had it happen last night actually, I flashed the lights at them. Then again, they probably didn't know the difference with the flickering HID's.

One thing that got me pretty bad, was a guy threw out ice from a cup - just by flinging the cup out the window and the ice hit all over the hood of my car, nice paint chips just from that - he didn't even realize it! This was my Miata btw, not the S.

Can you say "road rage" if that happened to your stook?

Ummm, I just want to apologise to you guys, you see, I'm a flicker of butts, but in my defense, I'm very concious of flicking em back at another car. As for the ash tray, I never use it, I don't want ashes in my car

No kidding ... I have friends who throw butts out the windows too .. I give them crap about it every time I see it. A smoking habit is not a license to constantly throw garbage out of your car onto the road. Not to mention flaming garbage ....

sorry man, I dont think its right to throw your butt out the window. I've heard of too many fires started because of it.
