E46 vs M3 - Real #'s from Road & Track finally
I was just wondering where you got those figures. I looked at R & T and I haven't seen any compairsons between the to. There were compairsons made between the Z3 and M5. Are you sure that your not quoting the M5 times. (No Offense intended) [QUOTE]Originally posted by Scot:

JRM - you have to be able to read to figure out what magazine it is in.. 
It is not in the normal magazine, but in the annual Sports & GT issue. I just got it at the store a day or two ago.
The car was tested in Germany.

PS...JRM - the E46 M3 does have way more torque and a 8000rpm rev limit (not sure where cut off is though). I think this engine is actually better than the S2000 due to actually have way more torque all through the range, peaking at about 4500rpm.
I am not getting an M3, but they do seem damn nice! (a little heavy, but...)
