Actually regular mild to mediocre earth quakes are a good thing in a fault zone. They keep the big ones from happening. The midwest is due for something BIG sooner or later. The last big one in the midwest made the Mississippi run backward (or so they say).

My wife phoned to say that we had a little damage at the house: a glass display case fell and broke (though the contents - ceramics - are fine). She thinks that the cats may have freaked and knocked it over, as other items on the same shelf were fine.

damn, yea it was pretty intnse iwas in brea and it was pretty crazy feeling havent felt one in over 10 years or so

Here in California we use earthquakes to scare away the non-natives back to the mid-west.

We were at the County Fair on the ferris wheel. It was big fun to shake side to side
