Thumbs up Ebay & Paypal Safety For Buyer

Long story short, what to watch for when doing transaction through Ebay and paying using PayPal? Making sure the address is verified?

I'm buying wheels from a user on this forum and due to my insecurity caused by past negative transactions I've experienced, I'm trying to be really cautious. So I'm asking the guy to post up his wheels on ebay since his ebay account has almost 200 feedbacks and it's 100%. Also the paypal account is verified as well. My 6th sense tells me the person is legit but I'm just being extremely cautious.

It'll be great if you guys can point out some points to look out for.

I appreciate your time.

The safest thing is not to use them.

The safest thing is to pay with a credit card through paypal, and then go through the credit card company if there are any problems.

also, listing it on ebay doesn't make a transaction any more secure. hopefully the seller charged you for wasting his time.

I've heard suggestion such as "PP only protects the buyer 100% if the items are purchased through ebay.", which is why I chose to buy through Ebay.

Well anyway, any other suggestions? And yes, I'll be paying with a credit card.

if there is a problem, you shouldn't file a claim through paypal, they suck at claims. you should also never keep a balance in your paypal account.

if something bad happens, the only thing you need to do is file a claim with your credit card company.

This is about the 50th thread opened having to do with paypal Do people not know how to use the "search" feature? Here is the EXACT same thing said in all the other threads:

Paypal SUCKS..... your credit card company (visa/mastercard) protects you more than paypal.

Amazon simple pay > Paypal.
