ebay question
i posted something for sale on ebay with a fixed price..the buy it now price. if i receive an offer, and instigate a counter offer, is the original offer still valid?
for instance - the offer came in under my buy it now price (the only price..there is no auction). I want to keep that offer valid so i can accept it..but would like to counter offer first. If i do this, will it void the initial one?
thanks

ebay is filtered out at work so i cant. sorry, i wil try and explain
i listed it as a "fixed price". as in, there is no auction...if someone meets my price, i accept. i can also accept offers less, but i do not have to.
it is to my understanding that if someone makes an offer, and i accept, they are obligated to buy?
if this is the case, i have an offer that i will most likely accept. however, there is a button that establishes a "counter offer" which is self explanatory. my question is whether this counter offer would make the original offer (which if accepted is binding) null and void. thanks
