Default Engineers! Difference between Jig and Fixture?

Are there any engineers out there that can explain and or give examples of a JIG and a FIXTURE as it would relate to automotive assembly.

My GF is interviewing with Toyota (assembly plant) and they want her to "brush up on her Jig and Fixtures". She has a vauge idea, but she wants to be sure before she goes ino the interview!

Any help appreciated!

jig - any device so arranged that it will expedite a hand or a machine operation. Typically used for welding or test fitting pieces, even guiding welding or cutting processes.

fixture - a production work-holding device used for machining duplicate workpieces. Although the term is used interchangeably with jig, a fixture is not designed to guide the cutting tools as the jig does.

You can't dance a fixture.
