"Enhanced Results" showing on left pane on search sites (Google, Yahoo, etc)
I'm getting this stupid pane that pops up when I'm doing searches in Google. I checked on Yahoo and the pane pops up there also. There's no way to close it and nothing happens with right clicks. It's really annoying and takes up a big chunk of the window.
I think this isn't something Google or Yahoo recently implemented. I'm only getting it on my home computer where my brother installs God knows what. I checked google groups and didn't find anything. I ran Spybot but the pane still pops up. Nothing different in Add/Remove programs.
Anyone know a solution?

I uninstalled Ad-Aware and I reinstalled it but I couldn't get the latest reference file, I think I have to wait until they release their next version, suppose to be any day now.
Search Box with magnifying glass? If you mean the search button on the toolbar, it's not that. If I hit Search, favorites, media, or history buttons, it just appears to the right of the "enhanced results" pane

Ok I solved my own problem. It's a Browser Helper Object, they allow applications to completely control Internet Explorer. It's pretty cool and a couple of the applications I use have BHO's (Download Accelerator, Acrobat Reader, etc).
So the BHO causing the stupid pane is called SbSrch_V2.dll. It didn't need my permission to install itself. That site above had a link to a program that monitors BHO's installed on your computer, it's called BHODemon. It also lets you disable the BHO. I did it and it worked!
