Yes exactely George (paivag) Funny thing is that in Portugal (western europe) most things are much cheaper than here in the states! Take for example, i took me and 3 friends/cousins out for dinner before hitting some night-life till 7am. WE ate very well, apps, salads, 3 bottles of wine, one of us had 3-beers,espresso's and dessert. Cost me roughly $120 for ALL that. Buth thats the norm there. My family is azamed at how much i spend and how "all-out" i go when im there. They think im absoluetely rich when im just comfortable Ive told them, that if i did this in the states it would cost me much more Niteclubs were about $10 to get in, and drinks about average. And the best part at the bar is no waiting for change etc. You pay your tab on the way out

 

In Italy, we were well outside the tourist traps and at one of the pizzerias, we ordered 4 "personal pizzas" plus the obvious Cokes...

Damn bill came out to EU97!

At the time, that was about $140. For ing pizza.

Ok, went to check out the "Cafe" here - the quality of the weeds here must vary a lot - I smelled (no, I didn't smoke) a few varieties from really good to very bad.

Red light district by the central station "Centraal" was quite interesting! I asked a cabby and he said it depends on the type of women. Africans & Asians are usually cheaper (~30 to 35 Euros), and Caucasians starts at around 50 Euros. He recommended some club (can't remember the name now) that Bruce Willis went: 70 Euro just to get in, and it's about 350 Euros for a girl, but he said it was the BEST. Needless to say it was a totally interesting experience without actually experiencing them

I have but 30 Euros left after the 20 Euro taxi ride from the Centraal to Westlandgracht, so I took the tram back (2.5 Euros) to Centraal. Ate at McDonalds - they have some kind of "McKroket" that was very much like deep fried beef tempura, very good. Also had fries at a local stand with peanut sauce on it, that was very interesting (and very good as well).

Heading back to London today, and I go to HK/China tomorrow where my dollar will go MUCH farther than here
