EVO owner killed while trying to sell car
About two months ago my roommate was carjacked at knife point point by a would be EVO buyer.
Unfortunatly another EVO owner was not so lucky.

I think we should compile a sticky for our forum with some simple tips for our members on selling their cars. I don't want to see this happen to anyone else.
Here are my tips:
1. Avoid meeting up at your home. Try meeting at a well populated area.
2. Let people know where you are going when showing your car, better yet, don't go alone. Have another friend family member follow in another car.
3. Only show the car during the day time.
4. Ask to see a drivers license.
5. If they call from a "Unknown" phone number or "Restricted number" don't answer the call.
Any other suggestions.
