Default Exotic Chocolate Bars

So I've been hunting around for some gifts for my chocolate-loving girlfriend and I came across this website:

CLICK

Seems like they have some really interesting chocolate bars that I think my girlfriend would love to sample. So have any of you guys tried these before? If so, are they good? I'm a bit concerned buying chocolate off the internet without having the chance to see/taste it beforehand, but it seems like this place has gotten really good reviews.

While we're on the subject of gifts for girlfriends...any other ideas? She loves small geeky gifts and we've decided we're not going to spend too much money on each other since we're headed to europe this summer.

I'm not that familiar with the brand, but depending on what percentage of the bar is pure cacao, I imagine they'd be worth a try.

Some of those pairings would only work for me if the bar is 80%+ pure.

Dark chocolate lover, are you?

Yeah, I much prefer 80+% as well. I'm very curious about some of these flavors...maybe I can steal a few bites from my girlfriend before she eats all of them.

stock up when you go to europe??? every supermarket i go into sells ritter sport. hmmm. but yeah i would definately look for reviews on that chocolate before you try it, not all high end chocolate is what its cracked up to be. i love the little lindt truffle balls, the dark chocolate ones are killer. trader joes sometimes has a cool selection if theres one near you. i thiiiiiink cost plus does too, but i might be wrong.

The chocolates doesn't seem too expensive. I remember the Food Network had a program which reviews different kinds of sweets, they had discussed one brand of chocolates that had really funky labels, etc... I don't know if it's any good though. I couldn't find it on google, but I did come across these ones Chocolates

I heard Vosges chocolate is really good. You can also try chocolate bars from Valrhona and Chuao which can be found at Gelson's. Or, if you want high-end chocolate truffles, then try Teuscher in Beverly Hills. http://www.teuscher-beverlyhills.com/
