When are they going to come up with some kinds of fines and punishments for lawyers and people who clog the courts with these kinds of lawsuits? From the Chicago Tribune auto writer's column:

News item: The family of a 19-year-old woman shot to death after stopping to fix a flat tire on her '97 Ford Explorer has sued Ford Motor Co. and Bridgestone/Firestone, blaming both for the death of the woman.

And I wonder why they didn't include the gun manufacturer in this suit, too. If it wasn't for Smith & Wesson (for example), the poor girl wouldn't have been shot. Please!
