Agreed. Not to mention the asshats that fly them.. talk about "my shit don't stink" mentality... Very different breed than whats pictured on "Top Gun" or cargo/refuelers/etc pilots..

You don't want a metro-sexual as a fighter pilot. You want smart, reflex oriented, keen-eyed, physically fit alpha-male types up there. It ain't a job for those with confidence issues.

 

Dunno, the one's I've met were cocky, but cool.

 

you HAVE to be cocky to be a fighter pilot. other personality types won't work, period.

also, you can't be colorblind. fun fact.

Understandable but isn't a big rule of thumb in ANYTHING you do, particularly things that require precision and focus - Racing, flying, etc - not to get cocky? I figure it leads to mistakes.
