Just noticed that cough syrup is on the list. In college, I drank a 750 ml of Robitussin max strength and the effects were quite insane. Had uuummm audio hallucinations for nearly 3 straight days. No visual hallucinations, unfortunately. 
Now, I did more than my share of illicit drugs in the college days, and still, all I can say is, Robitussin is freakin' nuts.

I've done the syrup thing twice and distinctly recall two effects: 1) my body didn't really feel like it was there, felt like I was detached from it, and 2) sound gets highly distorted, there are audio hallucinations and noises seem to slow down. Never again, though, shit is too hardcore for me!

yeah i heard it's pretty fockin intense, especially the first time
my friends first time was at college...i got to his place about a half hour after he drank 8oz. a group of us was walking across campus, he was the only one that drank the shit, and w/o looking over at him while walking i asked him a question about something and when i looked over he's bent over puking in the parking lot he threw up and then he was ok....we walked inside and he was focked up....we walked around campus and smoked a joint and then he almost couldn't handle himself.....really intense noises, and wiggin out affects

Discover Midol!
Dudes! I mean! One day, in band camp, I had a BADASS headach and no aspirin. My wife said that she had some Midol so... wtf? I tried it.
Minutes later the headach is Emeril BAM! GONE!!! and I have a "don't care attitude". Probably the best OTC drug I've ever taken.
I am not abusing Midol. It was just that once. Promise.
