Thumbs up Favorite beer

There was a real old thread regarding peoples' favorite beer, but I didn't recognize most of the screen names so I thought I'd start a new one.

The other day I was watching an old rerun of Family Feud (don't ask) and the question was "Name a country famous for great beer." The US was one of the answers (wtf?), but I can't believe they left off Belgium. Shows what they know.

Last night I drank a Duvel and then followed it up with a La Fin du Monde (Belgian style, brewed in Canada), beers that are not easily come by in the great state of Alabama. I think Duvel may actually be my current favorite.

Cheers!

I am not a big beer guy, but I kind developed a fondness for Dixie Blackened Voodoo during a weekend in Nawlens.

Huh. I've never heard of this one. What style is it?

If you like Blue Moon, you should try Hoegaarden. It's the same style, Belgian Wit, but Hoegaarden is actually made in Belgium whereas Blue Moon is made by Coors.
