Indeed. If only they knew more about asbestos back then...

The maint point of the short (5 minute) behind the scenes bit was how important it was to Steve to have realism in the film. The doctors and nurses were real doctors and nurses, working in a real hospital. Many of the other actors were real police officers, airline employees, etc.
In today's Hollywood of special effects, flash, and rapid scene cuts, where has the realism gone?

There was a good amount of time spent talking about the setup for the chase sequence. Steve remarks how the other stunt driver was "one of the best in the business" and how he was "probably the worst." Humility at its best.

The French Connection it has the original chase scene.

Mad Max (the first one) it could only happen in Australia

Death Race 2000!!! What can you say, except roll out all the old folks on the wheel chairs!

Glad someone put Cannonball Run in there (although I'd bad Cannonball Run II).

No matter what though, you can't beat Bullitt - best car scene ever.

Fast and Furious i kid i kid, actually i'd go with ronin and I know it's not out yet but the matrix's car scene looks awesome.
