Ok, first off I hate the show, but don't mind seeing some talent. My Dad and I don't see or hang out with each other much, so this is the one thing we do, watch AI together.

Melinda get's cut... Blake is still there.. wtf is wrong with people that they would vote this way? No Neck is probably the best singer that show has ever had.

I won't even watch the rest of it.. and don't even get me started on how Lakisha is gone before Blake too

it isn't rigged. The results are sent to a private firm to analyze. I know someone at the private firm.

I thought the idol had to look the part. I don't see how any of the remainder of them looks the part.

I would have thought LaKisha's vote would have gone to Melinda (given their similiar 'style' i.e., big voices), or Jordin (as a female).

Don't know where Blake's votes are coming from. Although I like him, I don't see him as the winner of AI.

I will watch next week, why stop after 15+ weeks.

On a side note, I thought Elliott Yamin's performance was terrible.

 

well this is the first time in a while that i really watched ai and i too am disappointed. the only way i could rationalize this is that the general consensus was that dolittle was a shoe in for the finals since she was consistently the best. people didn't vote for her and instead voted for their second pick. i think this is what happened to daughtry last year.

 

I was watching basketball.. my nuts are still in tact.

 

They do find out raw numbers, but also where the calls are coming from, what region of the country etc. They use the numbers for marketing as well.
