who else is dreading this day of hell?

I sure am, it's like every year I am cursed to live my life while every "happy" person prancing around buying their symbolic treasures of their neo-platonist god of "love".

well, just to shorten my rant,
I hate V-day

anyone with me to try and banish it??

 

I'm dreading it and I have a girlfriend.

 

Sorry to ask, but why is it such a "scare and hate" day for you two?

I mean wow, a "day of hell"?? You must enlighten me, please.

The ONLY thing I can think of, was a previous (or present) girl has put WAY to much emphasis into your symbolic meaning to her. ie, how you display and prove your self to her on this day. Am I close? Or are you guys just being knuckle heads?

 

just another day.... hopefully you will all experience a level of appreciation in a relationship where everyday can be treated with the same care, respect, and appreciation for your sig other. It's already been decided between us this year that we'll do something some other day.

Hah! We have to go to a wedding on Val Day. Hm... did I luck out? Or is she "testing" me and expecting the friday before to be designated as valentines day? I'm not too sure yet, but knowing women, or better yet, knowing that it's impossible to think along the same lines of a woman, makes me think it's a test.
