Well, I'm up late with some jet lag perusing roadster boards and it doesn't look like anyone replied to the s2k/mr2 mating question. So, here's my take.

A 2100lb, six-speed, mid-engine roadster that revs a flat torque curve all the way to 9 grand, costs less than anything that comes close, and even has a trunk and legroom.
