Default Fire Breather!!!

Just read in this month's Automobile mag that Autoloc has a new product that can make your car shoot flames twenty feet long, using a spark plug in the exhaust paired with a computer controller. It won't melt the bumper off any tailgaters unfortunatly. But it would look so COOL.

System is designed for show use only, but every S2k is a show car right?

No body think this is worth commenting on?

Or does everyone know about this already?

Funny, we made one of these for a VW Bug a few years back, old school bug, that is. Had a stinger exhaust on it with a fuel injector and a spark plug. Just push a button on the console and it'd shoot a flame. So one night we're waiting for our food at the Burger King drive thru, and a buddy in the car reaches down to grab a CD case from the floor. You guessed it, he hits the switch and lays on it for probably 6-8 seconds. I'm about to die laughing as the bush to the left of the car ignites! One of the funniest things I've ever seen. Luckily I had a fire extinguisher in the car and we put out the "burning bush". There was a car behind us, but after you ordered you had to sort of turn to get to the pick up window. Otherwise we'd have torched the hell out of a Jetta! I've got some pics of the car shooting flames. Will try to find them and post em.

I'm down. After seeing 2 foot flames from a modded Porsche 911, I don't think anything is cooler.

Might be "ricey" to some, but I would keep it as a tool to get people's attention or for fun.

This is kinda the same: In Europe and the Middle East, there's an aftermarket option on cars for "flamethrowers" under your side sills. Suposedly they ward off potential car jackers, but if you kill them you are responsible.

They had the install of a flame thrower kit on the show Trucks today on TNN. It made the host all giddy looked kinda nice though on a old school car.
