fitness - tractor tire flips
So does anyone have any experience flipping tires for strength training?
we bought some land and i would like to supplement my workouts with some complete body moves and thought this would be fun and challenging
What size of tires would work? how much is too much? etc?
About me
I am 5'9 195 lbs, 15-20% body fat. i can bench around 300, squat 250+.
my goal is to lean out to around 185 with a solid core to stay healthy as i age into my 30s
. I would like to eventually do a majority of my workout outside.
thanks

Start out with a tractor tire weighing about 200 lbs, see how many times you can flip it over in 30 seconds and work up to one minute reps. Make sure you bend down properly, bending your knees as you would to do a dead lift.
As you get better and stronger work up to a bigger tire. My son flips a six foot tall
18.4-34 tractor tire twelve times in one minute in the off season prior to football season. This is a great cardio and strength workout, just be careful!
