Default Flash Mob Organization

S2ki, I posted this on luxury4play and will be posting this here as well to get word out and try and receive as much advice on the topic as possible. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Hey Luxury4Play,

I am a lurker and I have posted a few times on some topics. You guys are great and being from various car community forums, it's refreshing to have such a diverse group of individuals to draw inspiration from.

I have a humble request from the general population that deals with my personal life. My girlfriend and I have been together almost 8 years now. Traditional and very cliche highschool sweethearts. To be honest when the relationship started we had no idea that we would be such great fits for each other, but we are straying from the topic at hand!

I recently put down a deposit on a nice shiny little stone and the ring is being designed as we speak. I should have it within a month's time after I approve the CAD renderings and wax prototype. My plan is to propose to her next year (I figure I would buy the ring now due to the inflation of gold prices...plus, I couldn't wait lol).

I wanted to organize a flash mob proposal for her. My brother (quite a bit younger than me at 16) is very into dance and is willing to do the choreography. My girlfriends sister is also very talented in dance and although she has no formal training, I know I can depend on her and my brother to come up with the "moves" as it were.

My question is concerning the actual event organization of this little spectacle and how much time I would need in advance to actually recruit train and rehearse. Also, what kind of legal stuff should I be looking out for in order to make sure that I am covered in case of injury to participants or property (you never know who you are going to have to deal with!). I am thinking maybe 25 people, but ideally I would like this to be big and if I could recruit 100 people, that would be an absolute dream come true.

If you guys have any suggestions on where I can go to research the organization of this as well, that would be awesome. Hoping some of you event organizers can step up an give me some much needed pointers!

Thanks for the help guys/gals.

Your friendly neighborhood purplemonkey =)
