Wife beat me to the remote. She's forced to watch Batllestar Galactica on occasion.

i sometimes get pissed if someone is in my way until i realize that maybe i am going 85 and they are going 75..... so i am speeding more than they are so i usually try to realize that I am being pushy..... but people going under the speed limit in the "passing" lane...they be ignorant...you ignorant.... fo'

These left lane f@ck-sticks that won't move over and then I have to then weeve around traffic to get in front of them. Don't even get me started on the douchetards tards that speed up when they are getting passed....

I deal with waaaaay to much of that shit on the Baltimore Beltway.

I wish more people would drive like they do in the midwest. When I was driving back from St Louis on I70 I'd be cruising at 75-80 and when I was coming up on someone in the left lane driving a little slower they would move over as I was coming up on them and I didn't have to get below 60 before they were over. Once I got past they got back over....no big deal....they just had great common courtesy.

Its always worse around holidays when the people that never get on the highway pollute the interstates - they drive slow, block traffic, and get pissed off over any little thing, waving hands at you, flashing lights, tailgating, pacing (even though they were driving 10 under a second ago), etc.

We have a similar problem in the UK, except of course it's right lane hoggers, or even middle lane on a 3 lane road, Oh for machine guns in the front bumper (fender) as a factory option. Use of a mobile phone whilst driving is an offence here though,

In California you are free to Neanderthal thru 4-5 lanes of highway , but now living back east I love these two lane highways and people actually get over to the right to let you pass on the left I remember a few years ago I drove from Indy down to Tenn. and several times on the trip I had a little train going with people I didn't even know. 5-6 cars all going about 70-80ish passing people on the left then all getting back to the right lane and so on.. It was awesome Something like that would never happen in Socal Unless driving to Vegas or Mammoth

On our trips up to the cottage I always used to either attract other vehicles or join an existing team of cars and we'd get a good pace going. Nice thing about it is you feel a little more comfortable speeding (especially if you're in the middle of the group) because the head or tail of the train is most likely to get ticketed.

Really? When I was over there, it seemed that drivers were much better about moving out of the passing lanes. The problem was that there were always trucks going 35mph in the left lane, so normal cars always had to pull out to pass them... so that slowed up traffic a bit, but those cars usually got back into the left lane promptly after completing the pass.

actually, one time I was the tail vehicle in a pack. i35 between san antonio and austin. state trooper pulled me over for 85 in a 70.

he asked me if I knew how fast I was going. I told him no, I was just going with the flow of traffic. he said alright, went back to his car, and came back with a warning.
