After typing that down, I couldn't even go back and edit the mistakes since I barely was able to finish.

When I got home my house had also been struck by some of the 15 trees that were uprooted in my yard.

Late september this year, on my way to SFO to fly home for a little break (running a little late). Driving my 1993LE Miata for one of the final times before I planned to trade it in on an S2000. 880 South, just north of the San Mateo Bridge. A piece of retread pops up in the air. I have the top down, doing about 65. traffic all around, nowhere to go, so I just hold her straight and:



Good thing the top was down, otherwise it would have taken it out, too. Didnt have much of a choice but to finish driving to the airport and just leave the car there like that. While in Florida, I made a deal for the S2k, after chekcing credit, the dealer agreed to hold the car for 4 days. I would return to SFO wednesday, fix the miata and get my CA drivers license on thursday and buy the s2k on friday.

I ordered the mirror, found a glass replacement place, contacted my insurance, explained that I had 2 days after I got back to get it fixed. They were super cool about the reimbursement. And here I am with the S2k. btw, got screwed on the trade in, but oh well, no point it whining about it now.
