Cedric..No doubt they hatched in the car. But it must have been a week or so, because these things were hardly babies.

I swear I get freaked out just reading this stuff. Not to mention part of my fear of spiders are they are so damn tough. The thought of squishing a huge one under my shoe kills me. When I'm feeling really bothered I'll take an aresol can and lighter and torch them. But like I said..Spiders are tough!! I've had them in flames running around my living room for minutes before they finally die. I mean come on, if they were the size of a cat they could take over the world!!

Oh and the Camel Spider? Thanks just what I needed to see !

Mike, the image you created in my mind of hundreds of flaming spiders running around your house both terrifies me and makes me laugh!

YIKES!!!

Daddy long legs are actually one of the most poisonous spiders out there.

I'm sure I've scared a few drivers sharing the road with me on the few occasions I've had spiders in my car....

Tho I'd rather have a spider w/me in the car over a yellow jacket...damn those things hurt! (I had one fly up the sleeve of my leather jacket on the highway...no idea how I managed not to dump the bike in my frantic attempt to stop and save my life!)

And let's not meantion fire ants...rotten smugglers

Here's a link to camel spiders a friend sent met:
http://library.thinkquest.org/28855/camels...r.html?tqskip=1

and Camel Spiders live in USA too!!! just under a different name...

Man, now I have the heebie jeebies!!!!

I'm a puss when it comes to spiders as well...if I see one...doesn't matter if it's while I'm driving or if they are crawling on my walls...instant reaction to to grab ANYTHING to kill the dam thing with! I find that since I have 3 computers in my room, plenty of CD cases lying around, CD cases work VERY well! Also webster's dictionary is one of my favorites
