B.) I dont believe she helped anyone needy in this, she gave a bunch of people who already ing had cars and money (they sure had enough to get to chicago and see her show) cars, why not give them cars to people who actually do need them..

I too can be very generous giving away other people's money (or cars). Nothing against Oprah (I've never watched her show), but I don't understand why she gets all the publicity for this. If Pontiac gave me the cars, I'd gladly give them away too.

Be that as it may, it seems many people here did not read the article. Here is what it said (emphasis added by me): So the audience did not just walk in off the street at random, they were "chosen" in advance. And they were chosen because they all needed a new car.

Wow, some you people are so damn cynical. Back up any of the points you are claiming. Right now, all you're saying is "I heard from my friend's nephew's uncle..." I'm almost sure that it's just an urban legend. Why do people try to tear other people down? Just because she's rich and famous? Get a life...

 

I hate that fatass Oprah bitch. Being a billionaire from some stupid talk show is ridiculous enough, but I've never heard of her donating to children's charities. The fatass bitch is rich and capable enough to help countless of children, but I've never heard of her helping starving children worldwide. The fatass bitch probably eats children (her mouth is wide enough to swallow a whole child), much less help them. I just hate that fatass bitch. There are other super rich celebs that donate to children's charitities, so I don't hate them.

Most people get "rich and famous" by ing over other decent humans and ignoring ethics.

So the only reason you dislike Oprah is because she is rich and famous, and thus ,in your book, most likely f**ked over other people?

Sorry, but that's stereotypical. I'll give you some real reasons why I think Oprah is a pretty good person:

1. She routinely gives money to charities. You can't deny this fact. She's given millions to foundations in Africa to fight poverty/AIDS/etc.

2. She's even adopted some kids from Africa. Rich or poor, it takes a phenomenal person to adopt a child from another country. The option of adoption doesn't even enter most people's minds.

3. Her show doesn't deal with pointless drivel, and junk that most daytime talk shows are infested with. It really isn't too bad of a show.

But, forget about all of this, it's really much easier to just call her a "fat rich bitch" right?

Gives money to charities? Have you ever heard of a tax write off and another thing called MARKETING?

Her and Dr. Phil are two of the most mindless drivel sheeple supporting shows on tv today and should be shown on Lifetime(the network for victimized women). They deal on a daily basis with constantly sad saps that need others to make themselves feel good about themselves. These are shows that prey on people's insecurities and makes them think they are "ok" because they can finally see that other's share their same insecurities.

Do you honestly think Oprah cares about you? She sure does care about her checks from advertisers.
