PrimoGen for President!!!! As a white man, I can't refer to black people as anything without it being wrong. Calling them "black" is racist and calling them "African-American" is wrong because they may not be from africa.
I don't get all this double standard sh!t.
I don't get all this double standard sh!t.
how about just calling them people?
Primogen, slavery still exists in places.
I believe in reparations to an extent.
I think the Ebonics thing is stupid too.
I think ALL people should stopusing N word of forms of it.
I know the world is imperfect.

you live in america...why are you surprised
First, let me state - I am a white guy
Blacks and other minority groups fought for so long to get the respect they deserve and then they go asking for stuff because they are a minority which puts them right back where they were. Affirmative action and other similar programs are embarassing. If you need to sue skin color to make it in to a public school, you probably don't deserve to be there.
I am still a white guy
I think the 2 biggest problems hurting the balance of blacks and whites are role models for young blacks & the self-proclaimed black leaders such as Sharpton and Jackson.

You can call white people "white"
You can call women "women"
You can call Jews "Jews"
But you CAN'T call blacks "blacks"
This started off goofy but has esalated...so I must put my penny's worth in....
The problem with society is we see color or ethnicity instead of just seeing a person, a human. And I think that was raj's point..let's stop playing into this media controlled rage about race and other differences that don't matter a hill of beans...

I love to pick these types of posts apart...I am on the fence on AA however your post is just void of substance....
The problem is PEOPLE pay taxes, sadly those dollars aren't used on an even keel throughout the land...once all schools have compters, books, working bathrooms maybe there won't be a need for AA other similar programs because EVERYONE is getting the SAME public education...
You know the education system that taught us Columbus discovered America...okay still bored just less so now...

Say you are a high-earning parent (250k/year) that has kids in the local elementary school. Do you want your hard-earned dollars to make your childs education better or to go to a school across the country that you will never benefit from?
I am just playing the devil's advocate here and agree that it would level the field if every school had the same funding.
